Plans for on-site survey for establishing Taekwondo schools at 22 states in Cambodia

Promotion of spreading Taekwondo in China

Gyeong Gi-Do Taekwondo Association (hereinafter referred to as GTA) and Gyeong Gi-Do Taekwondo Association Foundation (President G.M Kim Kyung-deuk, hereinafter referred to as Gyeong Tae Foundation) will be having on-site survey for establishing Taekwondo schools at 22 states of Cambodia. Also, they will be focusing on spreading Taekwondo in China.

According to Gyeong Tae Foundation, GTA and Gyeong Tae Foundation will be surveying on validity of promoting 2nd GTA training institute and Taekwondo schools in 22 Cambodian states.

President G.M Kim Kyung-deuk pledged ‘Establishing Overseas Training Institute’ and since neighboring countries such as Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore are connected by land, GTA and Gyeong Tae Foundation will be spreading Taekwondo in Southeast regions by establishing training facilities for Taekwondo instructors and cultivating Taekwondo instructors in Cambodia.

As Taekwondo is getting more popular in China, GTA and Gyeong Tae Foundation are working on spreading Taekwondo in China. Especially, Gyeong Tae Foundation already signed technology exchange agreement with Chinese 9-dan Association (President Haesung Hwang). Last January, 50 Chinese instructors visited GTA training institute in Korea and participated in brief seminar and Gyeong Tae Foundation said that the Chinese instructors showed positive response.

Gyeong Tae Foundation will be spreading traditional Taekwondo in China actively and training institute’s instructors, 9-dan demonstration group, and related people will be visiting Shenyang from March 31 to April 04 and holding foundation ceremony and seminar. In addition, Gyeong Tae Foundation plans to provide advanced course for Taekwondo instructors in Gyeonggi-do regions on every Sunday for 8 hours (32 hours in total) starting from February 23, 2019.

GTA, 해외 태권도 보급에 끝없는 광폭 행보

캄보디아 22개주 도장 설립위한 현지답사 예정

중국 내 태권도 보급에도 발 빠른 행보도 진행

경기도태권도협회(이하 GTA)와 재단법인 경기도태권도협회(이사장 김경덕, 이하 경태재단)는 캄보디아 22개주 태권도장 설립 현지답사를 곧 실시할 예정이다. 또한 중국 내 태권도 보급에 박차를 가할 계획이다.

경태재단 관계자의 따르면 캄보디아에 GTA 제2연수원 추진과 캄보디아 내 22개주 별 거점 태권도장 설립을 위한 타당성 조사에 나선다는 것이다.

김경덕 회장은 실천공약으로‘해외 연수원 건립’을  공약 했었는데, 태국 라오스 미얀마 베트남  말레이시아 싱가포르 등 주변국들이 육로로 연결되어 있어 주변국 태권도 지도자들을 위한 연수시설과 캄보디아 내 사범양성을 우선으로 하여 동남아 내 태권도 보급에 앞장서는 태권도 동방정책을 하겠다는 야심찬 프로젝트이다.

최근 태권도 열풍이 불고 있는 중국 내 태권도 보급에도 발 빠른 움직임도 진행 중이다.

경태재단은 이미 중국 9단연맹 문화획책 유한 주식회사(회장 황해성)와 기술교류 협약을 맺었다. 지난 1월에는 중국내 각성 지도자 50명이 방한 해, GTA 연수원을 방문 맛보기 형식의 세미나에 참가하였으며 그 반응 이 좋았다는 게 관계자들의 설명이다.

경태재단은 중국 내 전통태권도 보급에 박차를 가하여 3월31일부터 4월4일까지 연수원 강사진. 9단 시범단, 경태재단 관계자 등이 심양을 방문하여 창립식 및 세미나 등을 개최 할 계획이다.

아울러 재단법인 경기도태권도협회는 오는 23일부터 경기도 내 지도자들을 대상으로 최고 지도자  고급과정 연수를 한 달간 매주 토요일 8시간씩 32시간 교육할 계획이다.

품새, 태권체조, 기공태권도, 태권도시범, 실전 태권도, 태검도, 실전호신술, 품성교육 등 을 이수과목으로 정해놓았다.

향후 GTA 연수원의 끝없는 광폭 행보에 대한 귀추가 주목 된다.
