At the French Open Poomsae 2021 (Internationaux de France), the outstanding Korea-Team of Nazarene University competed in all the finals in which they were engaged ! : categories individual under 30 (male and female) and pair.

The Korea Team was there at the French Open: a great team that trusted the podiums of the under 30 category, supervised by Grandmaster Noh Hyung Jun, an iconic figure of Korean taekwondo.

Twenty-one nations participated, and Korea was represented by the university team of Nazarene, a team of a very high level.

In Paris, the members of the Korea Team have shown their unfailing commitment. Between individual and pair performances, they won 10 medals, and several titles.

Grandmaster Noh Hyung Jun's magic touch worked like a charm. An exceptional performance allowed to win the men's individual final, thanks to the talent of Yun Seung Park against the exceptional Joel Van der Weide, 5 times European champion and world medalist, and who won once again the European title.

Who is Joel Van der Weide? He is the best European for many years, at the last European Championship he was ranked best male athlete.

The Korean team confirms its good results, and for the individual and pair categories, under 30, the podiums were mainly composed of the members of the Korea team.

As every year "It's Korea Live" with the exceptional Grand Master Noh Hyung Jun 9th Dan Kukkiwon, a great man of virtue and conviction who has dedicated his whole life to Taekwondo, 5 times world championship, Grand Master Instructor of the world center, Pioneer of Taekwondo Poomsae at the world level.

Master Noh Hyung Jun works daily to spread the martial art and continues to teach all practitioners. 

He has already come several times to France, to give many courses, invited by the Paris Taekwondo academy, an association where quality teaching is provided 6 days a week in several districts located in the center of Paris. Very encouraging results for a first international trip.

In conclusion, our family would like to thank the exceptional Grand Master Noh Hyung Jun and his team for these moments of pure happiness.
