-GTA President G.M Gyung-duk is presented with an honorary doctorate from the National Sports University of Mongolia.
-More than 2,608 elementary, middle, and high school boys and girls participated in the four-day event.
Hosted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and organized by the Gyeonggi-do Taekwondo Association and the Gapyeong-gun Taekwondo Association on the 30th, the "2024 Gyeonggi-do Superintendent Taekwondo Competition" sponsored by Gapyeong-gun, Gapyeong-gun Sports Association, Taekwondo Mutual Aid Association, and GTA will be held at Hanseokbong Gymnasium in Gapyeong for four days from November 30th (Sat) to December 3rd (Tue).
A total of 2,608 people participated in the competition, 839 people participated in the competition, 295 people in Poomsae, and 1,474 people in sports,
The opening ceremony began at 11 a.m. on the 30th (Saturday), and was attended by Lee Won-sung, chairman of Gyeonggi-do Sports, Lee Gil-han, scholarship hall, Kim Se-hyuk, head of Kukkiwon Training Institute, Choi Kwon-yeol, chairman of the Korea Elementary Taekwondo Federation, Kim Eui-jong, vice chairman of the Korea Sports Association's performance improvement committee, Altang Chechaek, president of Mongolia's National Sports University, Ji Young-ki, chairman of Gapyeong-gun Sports Association, Kim Kyung-duk, President of the Gyeonggi-do Taekwondo Association, Lee Young-sun, Lim Jong-nam, executive director Kim Pyeong, vice chairman Cho Seung-ik, Park Hee-soo, Kwon Ju-ye, Kim Jong-ok, chairman of the Gapyeong-gun Taekwondo Association, and other city and county branches.
First, the Academic Committee of the National Sports University of Mongolia decided to award an honorary doctor to Chairman Kim Kyung-duk on November 1st in accordance with the 58th presidential order. This is a result of appreciating his long-standing contribution to sponsorship and development of Taekwondo training and guidance programs, and Kim Kyung-duk, president of the Gyeonggi Taekwondo Association, held an honorary doctor's ceremony for Altaqe, president of the National Sports University of Mongolia.
At the ceremony, Choi Ho-chil, the standing vice chairman of the World Taekwondo Mission Federation, and Kim Joon-sung, the vice chairman of the World Taekwondo Mission Association, were given the honorary 5th certificate, encouraging their contribution to the promotion and development of Taekwondo.
In the commendation of merit, Lim Sang-woo, chairman of the GTA Technical Committee, and Lee Do-sung, chairman of the Screening Executive Committee, were awarded the Presidential Award of the Taekwondo Association, while Pumsae Tribunal, Kwon Dong-ha, Seo Jae-woon, chairman of the Performance Improvement Division, and Cho Seung-he.
30일 경기도교육청이 주최하고 경기도태권도협회, 가평군태권도협회가 주관하며 가평군, 가평군체육회, 사단법인 태권도공제회, 재단법인 GTA가 후원하는 ‘2024경기도 교육감기 태권도대회’가 지난 11월 30일(토)부터 12월 3일(화)까지 4일간 가평 한석봉체육관에서 개최한다.
이번 대회는 겨루기 839명, 품새 295명, 생활체육 1,474명 총 2,608명이 참가한 가운데,
개회식은 30일(토) 오전 11시에 내빈 입장으로 시작되었으며 이원성 경기도체육 회장, 이길한 장학관, 김세혁 국기원연수원장, 최권열 한국 초등태권도연맹 회장, 김의종 대한체육회 경기력 향상위원회 부위원장, 알탕 체 책 몽골 국립체육 대학교 총장, 지영기 가평군 체육회 회장, 경기도태권도협회 김경덕 회장, 이영선, 임종남, 김평 전무이사, 조승익, 박희수 부회장 권주예, 김종옥 이사, 채광병 가평군태권도협회 회장을 비롯한 각 시, 군 지부 회장,등이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
먼저 몽골 국립체육 대학교 학술위원회는 지난 11월 1일 제58호 총장 명령에 따라 김경덕 회장에게 명예박사를 수여하기로 했다. 이는 오랫동안 후원과 태권도 훈련 및 지도 프로그램 개발에 이바지한 공로를 높이 평가한 결과로 김경덕 경기도태권도협회 회장은 몽골 국립체육 대학교 알탕 체 책 총장에게 명예박사 수여식을 진행했다.
이날 명예 단증 수여식에서는 세계태권도선교연맹 최호칠 상임부회장과 김준성 부회장에게 태권도 홍보와 발전에 공로를 격려하며 태권도 명예 5단증을 수여했다.
유공자 표창에서는 태권도진흥재단 이사장상에는 GTA 기술 전문위원회 임상우 의장, 심사집행위원회 이도성 위원장이 수상했으며 대한태권도협회장 상에는 품새심판분과 권동하 위원장, 경기력 향상분과 서재운 위원장, 기록분과 조승희 위원장이 수상했다.
또한 경기도태권도협 회장상에는 가평군 태권도협회 이현구 사무국장, 심사 진행분과 김성기 위원장, 경호의전분과 정용호 위원장, 시흥 금강태권도장 강원준 관장, 의정부경기체육관 김범철 관장이 수상했다.
이어서 제53회 전국소년체육대회와 제105회 전국체육대회 입상 선수와 지도자에 대한 포상금 수여가 진행되었다.
수상자에는 박현수(국가대표명학태권도장), 이진호(경희대학교), 이수현(용인대학교), 홍효림(용인대학교), 추다인(안산시청), 박지원, 강민서, 김경규(포천시청) 선수가 1위 입상자로 포상금을 수상했으며, 배현진(국가대표명학태권도), 이재희(경희대학교), 김보혜(안산시청), 이진호(용인대학교), 윤복채(포천시정) 지도자 등이 우수지도자 포상금을 수상했다.
