우리 국기원 태권도 9단 최고 고단자회는 현재 태권도계를 떠들썩하게 하는 국기원 현안 사안에 대하여 고심을 거듭한 끝에 국기원 현 집행부로서는 더 이상 정체성과 방향성에 심각한 문제가 있다고 판단되어 전자 문자로 서면 의결에 부친 결과 운영이사 26명 중 재적 사유에 해당되는 국기원 관계자 1명을 제외한 찬성 20명 반대 1명 회신 불통 4명으로 의결되었기에 다음과 같은 성명서를 발표하고 빠른 시일 안에 성명서에 나타낸 우리의 애정 어린 요청을 국기원 집행부가 도외시한다고 판단되어질 때 가차없이 행동에 돌입할 것을 표하면서 다음의 성명서를 발표하는 바입니다.

Notice:
Respectful reporters in each press, after keeping thinking over the current issues of Kukkiwon which makes whole Taekwondo field troubled, our Kukkiwon 9th Dan Highest Dan Level Society judged that the current Kukkiwon executives have severe problems in its identity and orientation toward Taekwondo. Thus, according to the result of vote by letter using electronic message, it was decided by 20 votes for, 1 vote against, and 4 unreturned answers except 1 Kukkiwon official who has the reason of being removed from the list among 26 operation directors. Therefore, we announce the following statement, showing that we will rush in the movement strictly if our affectionate request is ignored by Kukkiwon executives.

세계태권도본부 국기원이 사법기관으로부터 3회의 압수수색을 받고 조사가 진행되고 있는 현 사태는 태권도 존립을 위기로 몰고 가고 있는 너무나도 안타까운 현실이다.
Explanation
It is too much pitiful situation which endangers the existence of Taekwondo that World Taekwondo Headquarters Kukkiwon has gotten search and seizure 3 times and has been being investigated from the machinery of law.

국기원 업무와 관련된 비위사실이 언론에 보도된(KBS 2회, MBC 1회, JTBC 2회, 등) 후 사회적 논란의 대상이 되어 신성해야 할 국기원이 마치 범죄의 소굴인 양 비춰짐으로 태권도의 명예가 심대하게 손상되었다.
After irregularities about business of Kukkiwon was reported to broadcast (twice in KBS, once in MBC, twice in JTBC, etc,), Taekwondo became the target of social debate as Kukkiwon which should be sacred was projected like a nest of crime and the honor of Taekwondo was severely damaged.

이에 우리 국기원 태권도9단 최고 고단자회(이하 9단회)는 조사를 받고 있는 관련자와 오현득 원장은 물론 국기원 행정의 난맥상과 견제 관리 감독의 공동책임이 있는 집행부 이사 전체의 책임이 중차대할 것이라 보는 바이다.
So, our Kukkiwon 9th Dan Highest Dan Level Society(following: 9th Dan Society) considers that not only the person concerned under the investigation and the president Oh Hyeon-Deuk but also the whole executive director who has corporate responsibility for chaotic administration of Kukkiwon and for check and supervision should be going to have a great responsibility.

우리 9단회는 그동안 난무하는 온갖 소문과 녹음파일에 대하여 진실 규명을 한 후 그에 따른 책임을 물으려 하였으나 자기 성찰 내지는 반성의 기미가 없이 변명으로 일관하고 있는 현 국기원 집행부는 가뜩이나 어려운 태권도 일선 도장들의 현실을 외면한 채 자리 보존에만 급급하려 한다는 판단 아래 도저히 이대로는 안 되겠다는 회원들의 중지를 모아 단안을 내리는 바이다.
Our 9th Dan Society tried to reveal the truth about every rampaging rumor and recorded files and to ask the responsibility, but the current Kukkiwon executive just keep making excuse without any self-examination or reflection. Therefore, we make decision by gathering the wisdom of members that it won’t do anymore under the judgment that the executive is only busy remaining its position, turning away the reality of Taekwondo Dojangs in trouble.

홍성천 이사장, 오현득 원장, 집행부 전체 이사는 즉시 사퇴할 것을 촉구하는 바이다.
We insist that Head director Hong Seong-Cheon, president Oh Hyeon Deuk, and whole executive directors should resign immediately.
아울러 혼란한 틈을 타 혹세무민하며 국기원을 탈환하려는 세력이 있다면 이 또한 우리 9단회는절대 좌시하지 않을 것이며 투명하고 청렴 결백하며 미래지향적 글로벌화에 걸맞은 인사를 영입하기 위한 범태권도 대책위원회를 구성할 것을 제안하는 바이다.
Also, our 9th Dan Society won’t sit back and watch if there is any force trying to retake Kukkiwon by deluding the world and deceiving the people during the chaos, and we suggest consisting of whole Taekwondo task force to scout personnel who is suitable for future-oriented globalization as well as who is transparent and upright.

특히 현 국기원 기득권 측 어떤 인사도 만약 우리들의 애정어린 권고를 받아들이지 않을 시에는 우리 9단회는 전체 회원들이 9단 단증을 소각하고 문화체육관광부장관 면담 및 대통령에게 진정서를 올리고 퇴진할 때까지 강력하고도 단호한 물리적 대처가 있을 것임을 천명하는 바이다

Especially, if none of privileged personnel in current Kukkiwon accept our affectionate request, all members in 9th Dan Society will burn our 9th dan certifications. Also, our 9th Dan society will have a meeting with the minister at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; we will present a petition to the President.
In addition, our 9th Dan Society insists that we will take strong and decisive action until the resign. The end.
