Daedo International, the Spanish leading company in the martial arts world, has distributed 47,000 masks and 1,400 personal protective equipment (PPE) among the Barcelona City Council, the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and the General Hospital of Catalonia since last April 17 to show the appreciation of the company with the health professionals taking care of the community in our fight against Covid-19.
Daedo’s donations are a sign of its commitment with the Spanish society in such a difficult time for the country, which is facing an incredibly tough challenge that can only be overcome by staying all together as a unit, and specially with the healthcare personnel, who’ve reached 20% of total infected citizens because of their battle at the front line.
That is why, despite having been forced to reduce its activity in recent days due to the state of alarm decreed by the Spanish Government, on April 17 Daedodelivered its first donation: 20,000 masks and 500 medical PPE were delivered to the Barcelona City Council to help the city’s health workers fight Covid-19 in the best possible conditions.
The second donation took place on April 23 and consisted of the supply of 27,000 masks to two of the hospitals with the highest saturation of patients with Covid-19 in the province of Barcelona: Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Hospital General de Catalunya.
The third and, so far, last donation, was made last Monday, April 27, and involved the distribution of 900 medical PPE among the health personnel of the same two hospitals.
Daedo wishes the Spanish population the best of luck and fully trusts that, being all united and following the instructions dictated by the Spanish authorities, we will get ahead sooner rather than later.
Together, we are stronger!
