In November 27, 2021, Gyeonggi-do Taekwondo Association (President, Supreme Grand master Kim Gyung-Duk) visited the overseas instructors who were getting training at Kukkiwon and gifted souvenirs. 

In the speech, President Kim commented that he is proud of the instructors for enhancing the national prestige through Taekwondo even in the tough situations. President Kim also encouraged on paying more attention to Taekwondo both as sports and traditional martial art and finding the better ways for both of them. Especially, President Kim reminded of paying special attention to Korean instructors who are spreading Taekwondo at each country, communicating more closely, and helping each other in the difficult times. He finished the speech by wishing for the good luck and got a loud applause. 

The souvenir gifting event featured President, Supreme Grand master Kim Gyung-Duk, Vice-President Im Jong-nam, Executive Director Kim Pyung, and Director Kwon Joo-ye.   

경기도태권도협회(회장 김경덕)임원단은 11 월 27 일 국기원에서 보수 교육 받고있는 국기원 해외 정파 사범들을 방문하고 격려와 당부 그리고 기념품을 증정했다.

김회장은 격려사를 통해 “열악한 여건속에서도 태권도를 통한 국위선양에 앞장서고 있는 여러분들이 자랑스럽다. 스포츠 태권도만 중요하지만 특별히 전통 태권도 보급에도 관심을 가지고 상생 할 수 있는 방법을 찾아야 할 것이라며 특히 각 나라에서 태권도 보급에  앞장서고 있는 한인 사범들에게 각별한 관심을 가지고 그분들과 유기적인 소통을 하면서 어려움이 있을 때는 적극 도와주는 역활도 당부하며 여러분의 무운장구를 빈다"는  인사말로 해외 정파 사범들로부터 큰 박수를 받았다.

이날 기념품 전달에는 김회장을 비롯한 임종남 부회장, 김평 전무, 권주예 이사가  자리를 같이 하였다.

한편, 현재 국기원 해외 파견사범 규모는 56개국(아시아 19개국, 유럽 13개국, 팬암 12개국, 아프리카 10개국, 오세아니아 2개국) 56명(국가별 1명)이다.
