Dr. Kim Sun-soo, a 'emotional Taekwondo' who practices the spirit of Noblesse Oblige, was appointed as vice chairman of the World Taekwondo Martial Arts Newspaper.

Dr. Kim Sun-soo, dubbed the "pioneer of Taekwondo character education," was officially appointed as vice president of the World Taekwondo Martial Arts Newspaper as of September 25.

Dr. Kim Sun-soo is a successful Taekwondo leader who has built a national reputation and trust, and has practiced the spirit of Noblesse Oblige by donating all profits generated through numerous large seminars to support disadvantaged youth families, African drinking water hygiene projects, and multicultural and multi-child families.

In particular, he emphasizes that Taekwondo is not just martial arts, but a philosophy of life that practices character and sharing, spreading the essential value of Taekwondo throughout society.

Dr. Kim graduated from Kyung Hee University's Taekwondo Department and is now

- Adjunct Professor of Sports Management, Kyung Hee University Graduate School of Technology Management

- Member of the Technical Council of Kukkiwon

- Former director of the Korea Taekwondo Association and member of the Personnel Committee

- Former director of the Taekwondo Life Sports Association in Gyeonggi Province

- Former president of the Siheung Taekwondo Association

- Advisory Member of the Namyangju City Taekwondo Association

- He has devoted himself to the development of Taekwondo in various fields, including the chairman of the National Council of Taekwondo Leaders.

In addition, it successfully operates "Kyunghee University Doctor Starlight Taekwondo" in Dasan New Town, Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, and conveys the right personality and value of Taekwondo to future generations.

Practicing the spirit of Noblesse Oblige, it shows that leadership, social contribution, and Taekwondo philosophy have been recognized globally, and it is expected that Taekwondo will be an opportunity to further expand into universal human values.

김선수 박사는 전국적인 명성과 신뢰를 쌓아온 성공한 태권도 지도자로, 그동안 수많은 대형 세미나를 통해 창출된 수익금을 불우 청소년 가정 지원, 아프리카 식수위생사업, 다문화 및 다자녀 가정 후원 등에 전액 기부하며 노블레스 오블리주 정신을 실천해 왔다.

특히 그는 "태권도는 단순한 무예가 아닌, 인성과 나눔을 실천하는 삶의 철학"임을 강조하며, 태권도의 본질적 가치를 사회 전반에 확산시키고 있다.
