On Dec. 21, audiences cheered at the end of the year on a special stage where Taekwondo's restrained movements and artistic interpretation of modern sensations met. Taekwondo performance group "Taekwon Coreo (CEO Choi Yuri)" held a solo performance "UNFORD: DREAM" at Ojeong Art Hall in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
In particular, the performance sold out 400 paid seats, and it is evaluated that it has proven Taekwondo's market competitiveness as an independent performing art beyond simple Taekwondo demonstrations.

Choi Yu-ri, CEO of Taekwon Coreo, who is leading the performance, is an elite Taekwondo player who is a former world champion of Poomsae and a graduate of the prestigious Korea Sports University. Choi has been focusing on sublimating Taekwondo from "watching sports" to "feeling art" by combining modern dance elements and narrative-oriented production with solid technology he has built up so far.
The performance UNFORD: DREAM features a journey to find the 'real me' that has been lost in a repetitive daily life.
The shining self met in the dream was embodied by breaking down, poomsae, and martial arts movements.
Beyond simple strike-oriented performances, he presented a stage production that delicately described the layers of emotions.

이번 공연을 진두지휘하는 태권코레오의 최유리 대표는 품새 세계 챔피언 출신이자 태권도 명문 한국체육대학교를 졸업한 엘리트 태권도인이다. 최 대표는 그간 쌓아온 탄탄한 기술력에 현대무용적 요소와 서사 중심의 연출을 결합해, 태권도를 ‘보는 스포츠’에서 ‘느끼는 예술’로 승화시키는 데 주력해 왔다.
공연 UNFORD: DREAM은 반복되는 일상 속에서 잃어버린 ‘진짜 나’를 찾아가는 여정을 담았다.
